A-Z: Night at the Roxbury

Ok…start bopping your head!!  Time to shake da booty!!

I know I know…this movie is dorky…but…well…I can’t help it…it’s one of my favs!!  lol  I mean, c’mon…the music is rocking and you can’t help but laugh at the brother’s look on life.  Night at the Roxbury is about two brothers, Steve (Will Ferrell) and Doug (Chris Kattan) Butabi who keep trying to get into the exclusive club, The Roxbury, only to get rejected.  They dream of partying in the exclusive club and hope to one day open their own nightclub just as hot as The Roxbury.

One night, after a fight with their Dad, the brothers head to The Roxbury and again are denied entrance.  They realize they might be able to bribe their way in so while looking for an ATM, they get into a fender bender with none other than, Richard Grieco (playing himself).  To avoid a lawsuit, Grieco uses his fame to get the brothers into The Roxbury.  There, they meet the owner, Benny Zadir (Chazz Palminteri) who invites them back to his place for the after party and two hot girls, Vivica (Gigi Rice) and Cambi (Elisa Donovan) who think the brothers are rich.  The brothers have the night of their lives.

Only, it doesn’t stay that way!!  The next day they arrive for their meeting with Zadir only to be turned away.  The hot girls find out the brothers work for their Dad and laughing, tell them to lose their numbers.  Steve and Doug get into a fight and Doug moves out of their shared bedroom.

You can’t help but feel bad for Steve and Doug at this point.  Pop the movie in, grab a bag of popcorn and see if they can bounce back.
