A-Z: Labyrinth

“Don’t go that way…never go that way…”

My FAVORITE movie.  I think I actually wore the video tape out and I have replaced the dvd twice…lol…what’s NOT to love about this movie?  You have David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly, the Worm…13 hours to solve the labyrinth.

Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) is frustrated with her parents and one night wishes her baby brother, Toby, would be taken by the goblins.  She is shocked when the Jareth, the Goblin King (David Bowie) actually takes Toby to his castle in the labyrinth. She has 13 hours to solve the labyrinth or her baby brother becomes a goblin forever.  To save her brother, Sarah sucks it up and starts her journey, meeting many delightful and interesting characters along the way.  Ludo, the Worm (love him!!) and Hoggle just to name a few.  David Bowie is FANTASTIC as the Goblin King and his dance/music numbers are just as fabulous.

If you’ve never seen this movie, you have to!!  It’s a classic I tell you!!  …lol…get the movie and join Sarah on her challenge thru the labyrinth as she encounters many obstacles and learns that not everything is as it seems.
